Carter Liotta was born in Clarksburg, West Virginia. He received a Bachelor of Science from Ohio University in 1999, a second from Pennsylvania College of Optometry in 2000, and a Doctor of Optometry degree from PCO in 2003. Upon graduation from optometry school, Liotta joined the non-profit sector and became optometrist for the Eagles Eye Mobile, a mobile unit that gives free eye care to underserved public school students under the banner of the Philadelphia Eagles. He continues to work there today, employed by St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children.
